QuizCity: Light Vehicle Level 2 app for iPhone and iPad

City & Guilds, the UK’s leading vocational awarding organisation has developed QuizCity – our second mobile app designed to support City & Guilds’ qualifications.

QuizCity is a fun and easy-to-use tool for City & Guilds’ Automotive learners, enabling you to supplement classroom learning with your Smartphone. The quiz app allows you to:

Choose a unit and answer a series of questions to test your knowledge;
check your answers and learn from any mistakes you have made;
view your previous results and try to beat your best score.

The application has been designed to support learners studying the Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, either the VCQ, SVQ or VRQ and covers the following units:

Unit 151 – Knowledge of Routine Light Vehicle Maintenance
Unit 152 – Knowledge of Light Vehicle Engine Mechanical, Lubrication and Cooling System Units and Components
Unit 153 – Knowledge of Light Vehicle Electrical Units and Components
Unit 154 – Knowledge of Light Vehicle Chassis Units and Components
Unit 162 – Knowledge of Light Vehicle Transmission and Driveline Units and Components
Unit 172 – Knowledge of Light Vehicle Fuel, Ignition, Air and Exhaust System Units and Components
Unit 157 – Knowledge of Diagnosis and Rectification of Light Vehicle Engine Faults (Level 3 Unit)
